Arizona in Focus for Independent Supernatural Thriller

Producer/Director Remi Vaughn is shooting her movie “Out of Focus”, using Arizona cast, crew, and Metro Phoenix locations!  Media Day is Wednesday, August 13th!

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. – Three Horizons Productions, LLC, is currently filming over a 12 day shooting schedule, the supernatural thriller “Out of Focus”, a supernatural thriller about a dark, mysterious evil that uses photographs of people to steal their souls.

Wednesday, August 13, starting at 1:00pm, is “Media Day” for the “Out of Focus” film shoot.  The Phoenix area press is invited to C.J. Film Studios, where a segment is being filmed, for behind-the-scenes press coverage and interviews with the producers, director, actors, and crew.

Producer/director, and longtime Scottsdale resident, Remi Vaughn says of her project, “It is a short version of the feature film, which I have been writing for three years.  Thanks to my wonderful crew and the generosity of local business owners, we are finally hitting the ground running!” The local businesses to which Ms. Vaughn refers includes: C.J. Film Studios, Core Fitness, Pinnacle Peak’s General Store, The Village Coffee Shop, The Ice House, and Papago Park.  All of whom, according to Ms. Vaughn, have “gone beyond the call of duty and their enthusiasm about this project has helped to see my dream of producing and directing this film… come true!”

Ms. Vaughn has enlisted industry professionals to work with her on the film, many of whom have been in the movie business for several years.  Most were swayed by the sheer power of the story, with the word around town spreading rapidly due to the creativity and originality of the script!  Everyone wants to be a part of the project.
